Aerotek Production Associate in Williamsburg, Iowa

Production Assembler in Williamsburg, Iowa

1st and 2nd Shift Available

Details:

  • Assemblers

  • Work safely and effectively in a Lean Manufacturing environment

  • Perform necessary measurements

  • Inspect product per inspection guidelines

  • Load and unload components from paint line

  • Ensure assembled products meet all requirements

  • Pack products into designated kits according to specification

Work Environment:

  • Environment: Manufacturing plant but is fairly clean, clothes will get dirty due to product they are working with, Not climate controlled. In the summer it will be hot. Winter it is heated. Very friendly atmosphere. Some areas are better lit than others.

  • 2-15 minute paid breaks and 30 min unpaid

  • non-smoking/tobacco facility. Need to go off premise.

Shift and Pay:

  • 1st shift: $20

  • 5:30am-4:00pm Mon-Thursday (normally) but right now working lots of OT

  • 2nd shift: $21/hr

  • 4pm-2:30am

  • 2nd shift Machine Operators will need to train on 1st shift for a period of time. Likely 3-4 weeks.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • lift 50lbs

  • Basic Math skills

  • use a ruler

  • When candidates go on direct they will get a $.50 increase
