Purpose:

We are looking for a qualified leader to help manage a team of Post Issue Processing representatives and act as a subject matter expert. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members daily to meet or exceed metrics. As a Team Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for team members related to day-to-day questions, issue resolution, schedule management and workflow. Excellent communication, critical thinking and collaboration are necessary to be successful in this role. You will be expected to lead by setting a good example for your peers and team.

Accountabilities:

  • Provides coaching, mentoring and helps ensure team priorities are being met.

  • Assists and/or leads special projects within the department and serves as a technical resource for the team and manager.

  • Manages workload and assigns responsibilities to the team. Collaborates with peers to ensure workload in managed to meet or exceed SLAs.

  • Answers inquiries related to processes and regulations; detailing processes and appropriate information as needed.

  • Assists Support Staff teams as needed (PRT, QA, SWAT) and manages escalated issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Makes manager aware of any employee, workflow or team issues and brings solutions to the table.

  • Thinks outside of the box to come up with valid solutions to ensure proper team and workflow management.

  • Partners across the organization to build relationships and represents Post Issue Processing in a positive manner.

  • Participates in interviews, the selection process, one on ones and partners with manager to address any team member’s performance concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years of technical/professional experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with life, annuities and/or financial services products required

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of Post Issue Processing performance metrics preferred

  • Great PC skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Solid decision-making skills
