John Deere Waterloo Works School to Work Skilled: Electrical Machine Maintenance in Waterloo Works, Iowa

You have selected to complete a profile at Waterloo Works School-to-Work for the Skilled Trades Hawkeye Community College Electrical Machine Maintenance program. Industrial Electricians perform all electrical/electronic maintenance and repair to facilities and production equipment in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment. In addition, they are expected to:

  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment in an efficient manner while following strict safety practices and OSHA regulations.

  • Perform tasks necessary to support operations in a team environment.

  • Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.

  • Work with minimal supervision.

  • Supply their own tools.

  • Work shifts (choice of shift based on seniority)

You may only continue the process if you have been admitted into the selected program at Hawkeye Community College. A representative from the college would have notified you by a letter on the appropriate steps to take to complete the John Deere School-to-Work process.

If you continue the process and have not been admitted in the program you will automatically be withdrawn from the process.
