Title: Supply Management Specialist-89360
As a Supply Management Specialist in the John Deere Global Supply Management and Logistics organization supporting Power Systems located in Waterloo IA, you will work with Strategic Sourcing, Engineering, Quality and Procurement to implement and maintain supply strategies to support current production business for the fuel and electronic core engine commodities. In addition, you will:
Lead the implementation of Continuous Improvement projects to support cost, quality, delivery, and risk reduction
Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members to influence and align priorities
Negotiate with the supply base to meet overall goals for cost, quality, and continuity of supply.

What Skills You Need
Three or more years of Supply Management or applicable cross functional experience
Two or more years of experience in roles that required demonstration of effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Two or more years of experience with demonstrated effective internal and/or supplier negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Two or more years of experience with project management including creating a plan, coordinating resources, and delivering results
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience working on global teams
Previous product design, quality, cost managementor direct material supply management experience
Experience in roles that required an advanced proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, PowerBI) and Tableau
Working knowledge of SAP
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience
