Your Responsibilities
As a Supply Management Specialist for John Deere Waterloo Works located in Waterloo IA, you will….
Implement and manage supply base strategies in alignment with Global Strategic Sourcing and cross-functional teams to support the sourcing of Waterloo Large Tractor Programs
Develop and maintain supplier relationships to monitor and improve performance, including measurement of performance and defining corrective actions
Lead and support the negotiation of supply agreements resulting in cost models, ensuring the Company meets overall goals for cost, quality, and continuity of supply
Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner

What Skills You Need
1 or more years of experience with project management including creating a plan, coordinating resources, and delivering results
1 or more years of experience with demonstrated effective internal and/or supplier negotiation and conflict resolution skills
3 or more years of experience in roles that required demonstration of effective communication skills (written and verbal)
What Makes You Stand Out
Previous product design, quality, cost management, or direct material supply management experience
3 or more years of experience in a Supply Management role
Experience working on global teams or with global product
Experience with Order Fulfillment and Enterprise Product Delivery Processes
Experience in roles that required an advanced proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, PowerBI) and Tableau
Working knowledge of SAP and SharePoint file management
Previous experience in the fluid conveyance commodity
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline or equivalent related work experience
