Actalent Field Technician in Urbandale, Iowa
Description:
Construction Field Technician duties include Material Testing for:
Aggregate, Soil, Asphalt, NDT (Non-destructive Testing), Concrete, Concrete Density, and Steel
visiting multiple job sites a day. Will potentially be interacting with other contractors/project owners, etc
Collect samples of soil or concrete
Foundation testing - look at reinforcing steel to be in compliance with shop drawings
Concrete testing
Log and track the numbers from the machines when testing the concrete and soil

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and clean MVR.
6+ months experience testing IBC materials (concrete and soil) OR 1+ years in outdoor construction work
Able to work outdoor in elements, and in a team environment.
