Randstad has a great opportunity for a HVAC/Service Technician! Pay: $25-$45hr (depending on experience) SIGN ON BONUS OVER 2K The HVAC Technician role is primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers, chillers, RTUs, remote condensing units, ice machines, walk-in coolers & freezers and upright refrigerators & freezers.

salary: $33,280 - $80,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

· Trouble shooting rack control systems and EMS systems. Basic understanding of Variable Speed Drives and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components of a supermarket system.

· Provides service to the customer base by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customers' expectations.

· Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience and supermarket stores.

· Knowledge of commercial refrigeration, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical components.

· Working knowledge of single systems, parallel rack systems, display cases and walk-in boxes.

· 5-7 years' experience in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnace and electrical required.

· EPA certification.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends

Skills

• HVAC (4 years of experience is preferred)

• Refrigeration (4 years of experience is preferred)

• Commercial Hvac- R (2 years of experience is preferred)
