Canister Line Operator Night ShiftTo operate or tend automated can-line system in preparing customer orders according to specifications. This requires the ability to set up line equipment based on customer specifications and operate line to perform at optimal capacity.Work week consist of 12-hour shifts from 6 pm - 6:15 am Monday - Thursday.Regular Duties and Responsibilities include:Set-up, operate and troubleshoot the Canister Line operation based on customer specifications.Enter lot code information into computer system, and verify accuracy.Complete Quality SOP's as scheduled. This includes metal detectors, weight and lot code scales.Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to machine specifications for size of canister to ensure quality and conformity to product.Communicate with supervisor and scheduler on production schedules, quality issues and supply problems.Clean, oil, and make minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment.Maintain a clean work environment.Essential QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to analyze information, machine and process to troubleshoot mechanical problems.Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipmentAbility to communication and participate in team-based decision making processes.Ability to coordinate and organize production runs.Physical DemandsAbility to walk and stand for an extended period of time.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Work ConditionsWork week consist of 12-hour shifts from 6 pm - 6:15 am Monday - Thursday.For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
