What You’ll Do

  1. Complete skill assessments to match your strengths and aptitude with a specific production role in assembly, machining, material handling, paint or weld.

  2. Demonstrate technical skills learned through Vermeer training sessions.

  3. Complete specified tasks in a certain amount of time repeatedly.

  4. Perform regular and routine maintenance on equipment.

  5. Inspect parts and equipment to ensure quality.

  6. Calculate figures and apply basic math.

  7. Support 5S/workplace organization goals of the department and offers suggestions and makes improvements that assist in achieving the department’s performance board metrics.

What We’re Looking For

  • One to three months production experience and/or training preferred. Successful completion of Keys to Manufacturing Success Training Program.

  • Ability to perform problem solving techniques and root cause analysis.

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals throughout the organization.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
