1 - First Shift
Are you the type of person that cares for the environment and wants to play your part in protecting it? In this role you will support the chemical distribution, hazardous waste management, recycling, and environmental compliance processes. We are looking for someone who can work independently and enjoy an active warehouse and recycling environment.
What You'll Do
1.
Move, sort, and containerize wood, plastic, paper, cardboard, scrap metal, solvent, and other recycling materials.
2.
Operate a variety of powered equipment essential to daily processes.
3.
Deliver and replenish manufacturing chemicals, transport waste materials, and load outgoing waste streams.
4.
Respond to spills and manage the cleanup according to the regulatory programs such as Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) program, and the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
5.
Complete regulatory audits and identify problems that need addressed.
6.
Movement and storage of hazardous material warehouse inventory.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
Previous manufacturing or chemical management experiences preferred.
Ability to become Vermeer forklift certified.
