Aventure Staffing Maintenance Supervisor in Milford, Iowa
Maintenance Supervisor - $65k-$80K
An established food manufacturing company located in Milford, IA is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team! As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining grounds and repair and maintenance of equipment in the production building.

Requirements
Responsible for the safety for all employees under their supervision by conducting safety orientation and training of employees, enforce safe work practices, correct unsafe conditions, prevent lingering unsafe or unhealthy workplace conditions or hazards.
Leads teams of maintenance mechanics in predictive and preventative maintenance and machine repair.
Responsible for the development, implementation and day to day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation associated with efficient and High Performing Manufacturing Organizations (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOP’s, Safety, etc.).
Directs personnel in setup and teardown of related equipment to meet production schedule in production area.
Ensures maintenance is scheduled in a timely manner and works closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.
Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
Assists personnel with repair and diagnosing problems with equipment and machinery.
Provides long term solutions and day-to-day support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.
Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with USDA regulation. Schedule personnel within the department to get maximum performance for scheduled hours to work.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and knowledge in MS Office products (Excel & Word) and SAP preferred.
Certifications. Forklift and palate jack certification preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license to operate yard truck.
Mathematical Skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts along with performing basic math functions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong analytical skills with ability to identify opportunities.
