Position Purpose:

Direct management and accountability for Daily Kanban supply fulfillment, working closely with Trinity and Vendors to maintain a fill rate above 99%. Manages the Blue Bin dashboard for improvement on key matrix, including QCN management, healthily bin ratio, stock outs, and new Kanban builds. Support VA Coordinator with conversion, integration, logistics and clinical problem solving.

What you will Do:

  • Supervises staff and the daily activities to insure strong fill rates by monitoring Open order report and Potential issue report

  • Ensures compliance with requirements of accreditation, regulatory agencies, inventory control, quality assurance and customer performance standards.

  • Monitors Trinity metrics, identifies and incorporates best practice models.

  • Manages Blue Bin Dashboard KPI's implementing process improvements to maintain or exceed establish goals.

  • Manages lead staff to facilitate and balance work load to completion of open QCN requests and conversions.

  • Manages and implements product conversions as designated by the VA coordinator.

  • Works with department leaders to recommend changes to improve Blue Bin healthy bin ratio. Develops process to insure outdates are managed in Blue bin.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or willing to obtain

Experience: A minimum of three years working experience in supply chain logistics preferred or 5 or more years' experience supervising in a related field.

Special Skills and Competencies: Demonstrates understanding of supply chain logistics and inventory management techniques.

Demonstrates understanding of supply chain information systems to include: SCIS, Point of Use, remote handheld devices/bar coding and EDI strongly preferred.

Ability to plan, organizes, direct and assign work for self and others.

Ability to coordinate and manage staff and customers in work area activities in order to provide strong customer satisfaction, excellent organization and communication skills are required.

Ability to exercise independent and analytical judgment in the work environment to give and follow written and oral instructions and effectively record and reflect observations

Excellent customer service orientation skills necessary to deal effectively with various levels of hospital personnel, outside customers and vendors.

Must be or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment your Blue Bin Blue Belt certification.
