HOURS: 9:00pm - 7:30am (Thursday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday), 9:00pm - 8:30am (Friday and Saturday) 7 on and 7 off. No call. Holidays as they fall. Every other weekend
Medical Technologist
About The Job:
Performs laboratory testing, verifying results using knowledge of principles, QC, and instruments and interprets results based on physiology. Recognizes and solves problems using skills and technical knowledge.
What we are looking for:
Baccalaureate degree required.
Previous experience preferred.
MLS/MT (ASCP) registry required. To be eligible to sit for the exam you must have successfully completed a MLS/MT internship.
Membership and active participation in professional organization desirable. Must have the ability to work flexible hours.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with other hospital personnel, patients, vendors and service personnel.
Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status.
Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.
