Description:

Maintain Generators, Electrical System, Fire alarm system and components, work closely with vendors to ensure code compliance and a reliable electrical system from top to bottom.

M-F 7:30-4:00pm - 1 of 10 weekends and holidays

About The Job

The Electrician performs electrical testing, installation, repairs and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and daily maintenance on varied building equipment and systems.

What We Are Looking For

Education [formal]:

  • High school education degree or equivalent.

  • Post secondary education or formal technical training highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Current Master Electrician’s license preferred or at least 2 years journeyman.

Special Skills and Competencies:

  • Thorough knowledge of general construction methods

  • Understands safe working practices for all voltages and equipment types.

  • High proficiency in interpreting drawing, details, and specifications

  • Operate other power equipment.

  • Valid Drivers license required.

  • Computer software and keyboard knowledge mandatory.

  • Must be able to wear appropriate mask and be fit tested on an annual basis.
