Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including operating a sit-down forklift, assembling products, and utilizing RF scan guns to pull products. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment according to facility maintenance procedures and ensuring the accuracy of inventory through cycle counting and physical inventory tasks. This role requires you to work at heights, use various computer-based programs, and operate different types of machinery and tools.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down forklift
Work comfortably at heights
Utilize RF scan guns to pull products
Perform assembly tasks including using saws, fitting assemblies, crimpers, lathes, pressure testers, and air-powered tools
Prepare assembled products for shipment to customers
Conduct cycle counting and physical inventory tasks
Use computer-based programs for tasks such as Bill of Ladings and small package manifests
Read and interpret product prints and catalogs
Use measuring devices such as calipers and tapes
Record assembly-related data on paperwork and/or in computer programs
Maintain equipment according to facility maintenance procedures
Engage in physical activities such as standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds
Essential Skills
Experience with RF scan guns and forklifts
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
High school diploma or GED
Comfortable working at heights
Proficiency in using various computer-based programs
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, kitting, hose fabrication, production, machine operation, and hand tools

Work Environment
The work environment is clean, temperature-controlled, and located in Hiawatha, Iowa. The facility specializes in making parts for the OPM industry. The team consists of around 100 people on the production/warehouse floor. The dress code includes wearing shorts, steel-toed shoes, and a T-shirt. Work hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM for the 1st shift (with overtime starting at 4:00 AM), and from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM for the 2nd shift (with overtime from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM).
