Accomplishes various production assembly functions that are somewhat complicated in nature. Assembles products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Duties: Operates tools and production equipment to solder parts to computer boards Assembles electronics according to product specifications Terminates cables ends Retrieves diagrams from computer and studies blueprints Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and assembly procedures within electronic manufacturing field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Uses experience and judgment to identify steps and procedures within diagrams. Works with light chemicals for sealing PCB boards in a controlled environment May need to perform documentation. Conforms with ESD policy, safety practices and ISO procedures. Requires: Education: High school diploma or its equivalent Experience: Three or more years of experience in the field of electronics/ hardware cable work Physical: Must be able to manipulate small objects with hand and see objects with small details and parts. Performs assembly at a work bench in sitting and standing positions. Must be able to solder and use various hand tools, including a crimper and a ruler.
