Job Title: Assembler

Responsibilities

• Operate various assembly and warehouse equipment including saws, fitting assembly, crimper, assembly lathe, pressure tester, and flush booth.

• Use air-powered tools for assembly tasks.

• Prepare assembled products for shipment to customers.

• Conduct cycle counting and manage physical inventory.

• Utilize various computer-based programs such as Bill of Ladings, small package manifests, PC type applications, and mainframe type applications.

• Read and interpret product prints and/or catalogs.

• Use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures for length measurement.

• Record assembly-related data on paperwork and/or in computer-based programs.

• Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures.

• Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, kitting, forklift operation, hose fabrication, and assembly.

• Proficiency in machine operation and using hand tools.

• Ability to read and interpret tape measures.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
