Aerotek Assembler in HIAWATHA, Iowa
Job Title: Assembler
Responsibilities
Operate various assembly and warehouse equipment including saws, fitting assembly, crimper, assembly lathe, pressure tester, and flush booth.
Use air-powered tools for assembly tasks.
Prepare assembled products for shipment to customers.
Conduct cycle counting and manage physical inventory.
Utilize various computer-based programs such as Bill of Ladings, small package manifests, PC type applications, and mainframe type applications.
Read and interpret product prints and/or catalogs.
Use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures for length measurement.
Record assembly-related data on paperwork and/or in computer-based programs.
Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures.
Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, kitting, forklift operation, hose fabrication, and assembly.
Proficiency in machine operation and using hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret tape measures.
High school diploma or GED.
Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $19.34 - $20.34
