About the role
The purpose of this position is to calibrate and adjust equipment in accordance with the customer and requirements.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical client site and expand a career in Calibrations & Instrumentation field.
This is at a pharmaceutical animal health sciences site located in Ft. Dodge, IA.
What you’ll do
Performs calibrations and adjustments for numerous calibration devices; typically, in the temperature, humidity, pressure, physical dimensional, torque, force, flow, mass, conductivity and electrical fields.
Provide assistance and perform HEPA testing/Bio Safety Cabinet certifications.
Maintains accurate documentation, which includes but is not limited to the metrology database, calibration certificates, equipment history forms, time sheets and automated calibration software.
Conducts self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency in calibration theory, methods and equipment. Communicates to customers as it relates to the progress of the testing, repair and/or service(s).
Accompanies Senior Metrology to customer locations and calibrate equipment on-site.
What you’ll need
High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree (AA/AS) in scientific field of study preferred or equivalent related work experience. Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
Previous work experience in instrumentation and control, installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing equipment or related equivalent preferred and/or maintenance, electro-mechanical experience.
