Aerotek Welder - 20-24/hr in DES MOINES, Iowa

Looking to do more than just lay beads all day? Looking for a company that you can progress your career and not just call it a job?

The assembly welder will fabricate and weld components together as well as build and assemble the units. So you will be involved in much of the process and be able to see your finished product.

Description:

MUST HAVES:

MIG welding from blueprints

Assembly experience

Daily Duties:

MIG weld from blueprints & drawings.

Assist with general production and assembly on the production floor.

Assembling heavy equipment after paint or before fabrication

Will assist with assembly steel products and assisting in set-up for the welding team.

Operate hand tools and read blueprints to correctly assemble parts.

Read and interpret blueprints & engineering drawing and prints to weld and assemble products.

Will use several hand measuring tools to ensure tolerance and specifications are met.

Operate motorized material moving equipment to transport materials including overhead crane and jib hoist.

Paid weekly

Eligible to enroll in benefits on the 1st of the month
