The Revit Technician supports EFCO's Worldwide Initiative for BIM-Centric construction projects. He/She will provide technical support to the engineering teams that utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM Related software. Supports engineering productivity through the development of tools created and supported. Develops 3d Digital models of building and equipment.
Develops and maintains EFCO's Revit families and Templates. Can execute changes to the Revit database as required by Standard Equipment changes or as a part of the Engineering Change Request process. Supports the development of programs and tools used to increase the productivity of EFCO's engineering staff.
May support other Teams by assisting with the creation of erection drawings. Works closely with all key personnel to ensure that drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
Working under limited supervision, helps create and organize BIM training material as required. Prepares training materials such as instructional material, handouts, presentations, visual aids, and tests.
Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Associates degree or equivalent, plus minimum of 2 years of Revit experience.
Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. General construction knowledge along with ability to read and interpret blueprints required.
Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations required.
Working experience with projects that involved BIM requirements preferred. Proficiency on Microsoft Office products required .
Problem solving, organizational, and PC skills are required.
Limited travel may be required.
Final candidates will be required to pass a post-offer pre-employment physical and drug screen.
