Job Opening - Plumbing or Sheet Metal Foreman

Project Location: Sac City, Iowa

Duration: 1-year project / Once completed - will be transferred to a new project in Iowa

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 1st shift / 8-10 hour shifts

Status: Full-time / Can start ASAP / Weekly pay / $100 daily per diem

Job Description: Seeking a skilled/experienced Plumbing Foreman or Sheet Metal foreman to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Journeyman with all plumbing work and potentially some duct and sheet metal work. You will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical piping systems.

Your duties will include:

• Joining pipes or tubing to equipment and sources of fuel, water, or refrigerants to form complete circuits.

• Installing various ducts, duct fittings, and VAVs as needed.

• Installing chilled and hot water piping for various HVAC commercial systems.

• Installing water mains, waste pipes, and plumbing fixtures on commercial projects alongside the Journeyman.

• Hanging steel supports for ceiling joists to secure pipes.

• Measuring, marking, installing, and connecting fixtures and appliances to exterior water and sewer lines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or similar role.

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical piping systems and HVAC systems.

• Proficiency in installing and repairing pipes, ducts, and related fixtures.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
