Change Healthcare Outreach Supervisor in Des Moines, Iowa

Outreach SupervisorThe Outreach Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of call center representatives. This position will meet production goals while developing and implementing new strategies to ensure goals are continually met. Additionally, the Outreach Supervisor effectively manages internal resources and teams, identifies issues and obstacles, and implements solutions to meet timelines and deliverables.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Facilitate effective individual and team performance by providing continuous feedback to ensure the quality of deliverables

  • Identify and resolve problems and prepare and complete action plans

  • Manage system and process improvements and quality assurance programs

  • Communicate job expectations to team, which include monitoring, forecasting, and enforcing policies and procedures

  • Ensure production and quality quotas are met

  • Take ownership of assignments, special projects, pilot programs; and other duties as assigned or requested

  • Market, sell, and promote company services in an outbound call center environment

  • Evaluate opportunities for team improvement and provide training and coaching to ensure efficient daily operations

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • High School Diploma

  • 3+ years’ experience supervising or leading a team within a client facing or call center environment; or an Associate’s degree with 1+ years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role

  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Customer focused with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • High energy, self-starter with ability to work in a team environment

  • Strong time management and planning skills

  • Able to independently analyze issues and resolve creatively

  • Organized and detailed-oriented to produce quality work

  • Able to Navigate through multiple computer applications simultaneously

  • Comprehend complex concepts.

  • Patient with ability to communicate with empathy and understanding

  • Able to adapt to changing environments

  • Able to meet daily, weekly, and monthly quotas

  • Provide quality customer service during every interaction

  • Excellent data entry and internet navigation skills

  • Spanish fluency an asset

How much should I expect to travel?

Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
