Job Description
The Lube Mechanic is responsible for going to different Elder Corporation job sites to perform preventative maintenance to equipment, visually inspect equipment for noticeable issues, and grease appropriate grease points. This position requires a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic, as the workforce in the field must have the fuel in time to complete their daily schedule. The Lube Mechanic will be responsible for scheduling preventative maintenance with onsite personnel.
Responsibilities:
Perform equipment preventative maintenance as required
Complete scheduled oil samples (SOS)
Schedule all preventative maintenance with onsite personnel
Visually inspect equipment during preventative maintenance process for issues that
may cause downtimeMaintain and update equipment records on a computer (Program specific training will
be provided)Provide own tools and possess ability to safely and effectively use them (Specialty
tools will be provided)Report any mechanical issues to management immediately
Required Skills:
Written and verbal communication skills
Dependable and willing to report to work on time
Basic computer skills
Basic iPhone skills (Ability to operate phone calls and enter data)
Ability to work independently with little instruction
Strong work ethic
Preferred Skills:
Class A CDL, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements
Prior operating or mechanic experience on CAT and John Deere heavy equipment
