Job Title: Sanitation Technician for Greenhouse

Job Description

Join our dedicated Controlled Environments team as a Sanitation Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our greenhouse facilities. This position is vital for the progression of our research processes, ensuring that our environments are pristine and safe for both our plants and personnel. You will be responsible for routine sanitation tasks, using a variety of cleaning tools and products, and adhering strictly to safety and operational protocols.

Hard Skills

• Use of manual and power-assisted cleaning tools (e.g., ride-on sweeper, power washer, vacuum, handheld blower)

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting

• Application of cleaning products with proper safety measures

• Understanding and implementation of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) safety procedures

Soft Skills

• Inquisitiveness and willingness to ask questions

• Detail-oriented with strong observational skills

• Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to perform physical tasks and tolerate repetitive work in a warm, humid environment

Work Environment

Work shift is from 7:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires physical endurance and involves working in a greenhouse setting with varying temperatures and conditions. A bonus structure is in place, rewarding longevity and dedication.
