As a Senior Compliance Analyst with us, you will monitor changes to laws and regulations to ensure compliance with State & Federal mandates. This is a place that will bring out the best in you!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with network partners to create, prioritize, and submit network termination filings to regulators

  • Responsible for submitting various annual and ad hoc network filings while working with several business areas to ensure compliance of complex and rapidly changing network adequacy rules

  • Create effective relationships with regulators to negotiate positive outcomes and mitigate potential risks on the company’s behalf

  • Establish, mandate, and implement standard policies, procedures and best practices across the company to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations

  • Conduct state-specific legal research and monitor changes in requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance

  • Support the collection of data for regulatory filings, coordinate and develop reports, projects and use assessment tools to verify compliance

  • Create regulatory reporting

The stakes are high and you'll need to be able to communicate research and data findings in a meaningful way. You will be responsible for monitoring internal and external regulatory audits. And you will be expected to monitor changes in requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years of experience working in a government, legal, health care, managed care and/or health insurance environment in a regulatory, privacy or compliance role

  • Intermediate level of regulatory reporting

  • Intermediate or better proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience communicating complex information via phone conversations and emails to non-technical clients, external customers, internal customers and executives

  • Experience interacting & collaborating with a variety of stakeholders (other team members, internal customers and executives

  • Experience drafting and filing documents using SERFF

  • DMHC (Department of managed healthcare in CA) Portal Experience

  • Familiarity with the CA Knox-Keene

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
