CITY OF COUNCIL BLUFFS Seasonal Public Works Winter Maintenance in Council Bluffs, Iowa
The City of Council Bluffs is currently hiring for the position of Seasonal Public Works Winter Maintenance!
**Mission:Our mission is to continuously improve the quality of life and attractiveness of the City of Council Bluffs.
**Starting Pay: $18.00/HR
Potential Shifts: **
- This position consists of 24 hours of scheduled work per week with the expectation of being available during snow/ice events within any 24-hour period, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Most seasonal positions average 40 hours per week
**Duration of Season: November through March
**Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older
**Dress Code Requirements: Long pants, work boots, high visibility vest provided, no ripped or torn clothing, no clothing with inappropriate logos or sayings, shirts must have sleeves
**Responsibilities: Performs tasks related to snow removal operations during the winter months to include operating and maintaining snow removal equipment (i.e. daily inspections and changing cutting edges on plows). Other street and sewer duties as assigned while not in snow operations.

- Valid Class B Commercial Drivers License
