Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Job Description

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for assisting in maintaining an accurate record of warehouse inventory. You will update inventory and address discrepancies in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including processing adjustments. You will also prevent and resolve any inventory discrepancies and communicate count results to Management and/or the Customer as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory.

• Update inventory and address discrepancies in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Process inventory adjustments.

• Prevent and resolve inventory discrepancies.

• Communicate count results to Management and/or the Customer as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inventory, shipping, and receiving.

• 1+ years of shipping and receiving experience.

• 6+ months of customer service experience.

• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

• Forklift operation experience.

• Proficiency in inventory control and customer service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow-up aggressively.

• Ability to perform several job functions simultaneously.

• Basic math skills.

• Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.

Work Environment

The work environment is indoors in a cold storage facility, with temperatures around 30 degrees. Shifts available are 1st Shift: 6am-3:30pm, 2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12am, and 3rd Shift: 10pm-7am.

This is a Contract position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
