Job Title: Logistics Clerk
Location: Coralville, IA
Shift: Weekday Mid-Day (Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 9:00pm)
Purpose Statement:
Responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. Performs manual and/or clerical duties that may utilize various systems / WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment. Performs a wide variety of planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow. Coordinates and monitors workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned distribution area. Maintains compliance with relevant local, country and international guidelines. May have responsibility for fulfillment administration and processes.
Essential Functions:
Creates current and future shipping manifests
Picks, packs, verifies, and processes customer orders using various software suites
Consolidates packages destined for specific customers
Prepares and processes small package shipments for personnel outside of the Logistics Group
Manages department inventory and performs cycle counting
Notifies Customer Care and Key Accounts personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addresses
Makes Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings
Delivers packages to local customers and to the Eastern Iowa Airport, when necessary
Education, Licensure, Certification, Registration:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid Iowa driver’s license required
Professional Experience:
Previous shipping experience preferred
Previous experience with shipping software suites preferred
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred

Physical Requirements:
Exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
Constant (67-100% of work day)
