In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead the development and execution of a multi-year roadmap for manufacturing applications, aligning technology solutions with IDT’s goals and objectives.
Develop a risk-based approach to addressing compliance and quality requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory-based standards inclusive of FDA, GMP/cGMP, HIPAA, NIST, etc.
Effectively represent and own communications related to project pipeline, regular cadences with key stakeholders. Ensure the team resources are aligned to the right priorities, and advocate with leadership to defend team capacity with relevant supporting data.
Lead team development of a high-performing team of IT professionals by building, inspiring, influencing and fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
Lead as a change agent and hold associates accountable for high standards of performance.
Document and measure the performance of systems. Standardize documentation and produce KPIs and metrics related to monthly IT bowler.
Manage relationships and negotiate with external partners and/or vendors.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree is required with preference to Computer Science, MIS, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles with a focus on manufacturing applications/systems.
3+ years of experience in managing and strategically leading manufacturing applications/systems including successfully implementing large-scale manufacturing application projects.
2+ years of manufacturing processes, DevOps, and Agile/SDLC development framework.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on delivering business value through technology solutions.
Highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects without loss of efficiency or composure.
3+ years of experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreement management.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Life Sciences work experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence and machine learning) in the manufacturing context.
