Under close supervision of the Assistant Chief Credit Officer, ithis position assists management in the overall administration of the credit function.i Performs a variety of moderately complex administrative support duties requiring some independent judgment and analysis. Ag New Mexico is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, the nationis oldest and largest source of rural financing, which has been financing farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses for over 100 years.iOuriAssociation provides competitive pay and an excellent benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more!i The Administrative Assistant - Credit position can be based out of any of the four offices in either Albuquerque, Clovis, Roswell or Las Cruces, NM.iEssential Functions and Responsibilities:iReview and verify loan officer entries in the credit delivery system to determine eligibility for approval.Review and verify all types of lien searches and lien filings to ensure Association is adequately secured.Monitor and record lender error in credit delivery system to improve future trainings and increase lender accuracy.Utilizing the credit delivery system, prepare documents and correspondence for association reports as required following approved association and Ag New Mexico policies and procedures.Prepare loan committee agenda and track loan committee minutes.Maintains a database of credit action approvals from FCBT, participations, and guarantees from Farmer Mac and FSA.Periodically audits branches to assure compliance with Regulation B in regard to sending Adverse Action Notices.iMonitors past due loans and tracks results.Maintains loan underwriting standards and generates underwriting standards exception reports as requested by management.Assists management with the development and maintenance of credit policies and procedures.Compiles YBS reporting for annual business plan, FCBT, and FCA questionnaire.Administers the Associationis watch list.Provides information requested for internal and external credit reviews.Acts as the alternate Collateral custodian.Complies with proper credit administration practices as outlined in the associationis policies and procedures.May assist with, or attend, public relations functions for the Association.Compliance with Farm Credit Bank of Texas and Association technology and security standards is required.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications (includes education, skills, and experience):iHigh School Diploma or GEDAt least one (one) year of experience in banking or related agricultural lending experience.General knowledge of office equipment and systems used for the storage and retrieval of business information.General knowledge of standard records management and file classification practices.iSpecialized knowledge of written correspondence principles.iSkill in oral and written communication.iIntermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment according to detailed instructions, which may include computers, paper shredders, telephones, photocopiers, fax machines and scanners.Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners.Strong analytical,
