Description:

Position Purpose

Assists in providing support to the staff and customers utilizing Peoplesoft Supply Chain Management software as well as related and interfaced systems and peripherals (i.e., Kan Ban/Blue Bin, Handheld Technology). Specific responsibilities include assisting and monitoring system troubleshooting and enhancement, report development, functional requirements, analysis, assigned project management, assist with systems implementation, conversions, upgrades, testing, documentation, supporting stage refill process, product conversions, and end user training. Completes Supply Chain month end reports and Accounts Payable month end reports. Manages inventory including backorders and works closely with value analysis nurse or clinicians ordering substitutes to be clinically acceptable for inventory reorder. Participates in reducing costs, standardizing processes and promote best practices and implement purchasing and works closely inside and outside the department to identify improvements in workflow.

What You Will Do

  • Assists Manager to ensure smooth and continuous operation of all Supply Chain Information Systems applications, providing troubleshooting in response to system issues, performing basic system maintenance and seeking system support when necessary.

  • Assists in analyzing/utilizing information for inventory management locations and recommends adjustments to stocking levels.

  • Assists personnel both internal and external to the department with the functionality of the systems and interpretation of the data.

  • Collects data and performs analysis as required to support supply chain initiatives and organizational decision-making.

  • Accesses reports queries within People Soft as needed.

  • Attends and participates in daily huddles.

  • Reviews all Service, blanket and standing orders request for appropriate information and expiration dates.

  • Maintains data in the supply chain information systems (PeopleSoft) by maintaining item, vendor and contract masters according to predefined standards.

  • Responsible for PDCA (Plan/Do/Check/Act) working closely with Supply Chain Manager for continuous improvement of Trinity System Admin Scorecard.

  • Responsible for PDCA working closely with Supply Chain Manager for continuous improvement of assigned Trinity Key Performance Indicators of operation scorecard.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate of Arts degree preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

  • At least two years of related work experience.

  • Experience with remote inventory control/handheld devices, bar coding automated supply stations, Peoplesoft and detailed data analysis preferred.

  • Proficient computer knowledge such as Word, Excel and Power Point applications.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
