QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP Machine Operator in Centerville, Iowa
Position Title:Machine Operator
Wage:$18.00/hour
Shift:1st
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate grinders, drill press, hand lathes, and band saw for production of tooling for riveting. - Work assignments cover multiple workstations based on daily work orders. - Read blue prints and follow work orders to produce product to specs. - Ensure equipment is running properly and report any issues to Supervisor/Maintenance. - Read calipers, micrometers, and height gauge to ensure product is up to the company standard.
Machine Operator Requirements: - Lift up to 50lbs on a non-repetitive basis. - Work while standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, twisting, or kneeling - Complete fast paced hand eye movements - Must be able to read and understand blue prints. - Must be detail oriented and good organizational skills. - Must be able to use and read calipers, micrometers, and height gauge
