Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will primarily assist in the shredding area, operating a forklift to handle large rolls of pulp, and staging the product for the shredding machine. You will also manage the material coming off the line, restoring it in designated areas, and using an RF Scan gun for inventory purposes. Additionally, you will perform light cleaning duties within the work area. This position involves significant manual labor and requires working in various warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift for handling large rolls of pulp and staging products.

  • Assist in loading the shredding machine and maintaining the material coming off the line.

  • Store materials in designated areas using an RF Scan gun for inventory purposes.

  • Perform light cleaning duties within the work area.

  • Label and put away products, taking them off the line as necessary.

  • Engage in manual labor tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ months of forklift experience.

  • 6+ months of warehouse experience.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, though this is rare.

  • Must be clean shaven or wear a beard net if working in production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with material handling and production.

  • Familiarity with RF Scan technology.

  • Capability to operate within a clean and regulated environment.

Work Environment

The facility is a clean and well-maintained environment, adhering to high standards. Temperatures can range from 40 degrees in the winter to 80 degrees in the summer. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed boots. The work schedule follows a 2:2:3 rotation with shifts from 7 am to 7 pm. There are also three shifts available for other positions: 1st shift (7 am-3 pm), 2nd shift (3 pm-11 pm), and 3rd shift (11 pm-7 am), with training for the 3rd shift conducted on the 1st shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
