Now Hiring Electronics Assembly Technician!

Job Description

Seeking a meticulous and dedicated Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team. The role involves stripping, pulling, and coiling wires up to 15-16 feet in length, attaching connectors and insulators, and running wires through machines to secure clamps. The technician will be responsible for kitting prepared wires, adhering to work order instructions, and maintaining organization of parts and tickets throughout the assembly process. Attention to detail is crucial for double-checking orders before submission to Quality Assurance (QA), as well as adhering to end-of-day cleanup duties and reporting any tool malfunctions promptly. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with basic math, kitting, and assembly operations, as well as navigating customer applications for label printing and following electronic control plan instructions.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Work Environment

The position is based in a pristine, temperature-controlled warehouse with a relaxed atmosphere. Our company, a contract distributor of electronic components, handles a variety of commodities, including custom, mechanical, and electrical components. An example of our products includes components for Ice Machines found at gas stations. The dress code includes jeans/shorts without holes and a t-shirt, with company shirts provided after 30 days. Fridays are casual.
