We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineering student interested in learning engineering principles used in manufacturing through an Electrical Engineering co-op to join our New Product Introduction team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the spring/summer 2023 session (January 2024 - August 2024) . Everyday you’ll be using your electrical engineering skills in working with manufacturing personnel to ensure Collins Aerospace customer expectations are met.

New Product Introduction of new products from design to manufacturing
Collect Electronic test failure information and prepare failure analysis reports
Assist in analyzing test failures for root causes and corrective actions.
Assist in developing and preparing test and diagnostic programs to aid in the troubleshooting of test failures
Assist with optimizing test flow relative to cost constraints.
Test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, etc)
Statistical analysis of data to improve test yields
Work with Electrical Engineers and Test Technicians to understand product and test system issues
General Manufacturing and Test support
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
