SUMMARY This position is responsible for combining, blending and processing the appropriate raw materials in accordance to the specifications of a batch ticket. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)

• Maintain safety, quality, production, and sanitation standards at all times
• Ensure proper weight and measured ingredients for batching process prior to compounding
• Set equipment parameters for operation
• Perform quality checks as required
• Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Complete and maintain department paperwork
• Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards
• Add or mix raw materials for processing, using hand tools or other equipment

• Clean equipment to sanitation standards
• Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies

• Firm understanding and compliance with companys Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices
• Regular attendance
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma/GED required

A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a relatable field preferred

Batching or food preparation experience preferred

Experience with ERP software preferred

Experience using a forklift preferred
