Aventure Staffing General production 2nd Shift in Armstrong, Iowa
A factory in Armstrong Iowa is hiring for 2nd Shift Production workers.
Pay is $18.00 an hour plus a $2.00 an hour shift differential.
Hours: 2:30pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
Operates and tends fabricating machines such as cut-off saws, shears, rolls, breaks, presses, forming machines , spinning machines, and punch, that cut, shape, and bend metal coils , plates, sheet, tubes and structures by performing the following duties.
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments
Sets stops or guides to specified sizes by scale, rule, or template
Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade
Operates controls to activate machine and observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
Measures work piece dimensions to determine machine accuracy and that work piece meets desired specifications
Performs minor machine maintenance such as, oiling machines , dies or work pieces Assists in the set-up of machines and stacks, marks or packs finished work pieces Attends and contributes to team meetings
Trains and assists new operators on set up and operation of machines.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required
Robotic experience preferred
Applied knowledge of Controls and Instrumentation
Applied knowledge and ability to read blueprints and assemble parts according to
specification
Knowledge of manufacturing quality
Applied knowledge of hand tools
Applied knowledge of power tools
Use of good judgement
Willingness to cross train in other areas of the plant as required
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to read precision measurement equipment
Ability to work and assist with set ups and training on off shifts
Ability to read and understand written instructions
Ability to work well with all other departments

$18.00 - $20.00 HR
