Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the mill. Your duties will include cleaning floors and removing products, handling product, and ensuring proper set-up and operation of equipment. You will read, assess, troubleshoot, and adjust, and monitor production parameters to maintain peak efficiency. A good understanding of flow sheets is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and remove products from floors

• Set up and arrange equipment for proper operation

• Read, assess, troubleshoot, and adjust when necessary

• Understand and manage all other flows and flow sheets

• Monitor and regulate production parameters to ensure peak efficiency

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience in production

• General working knowledge of computers

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable standing for the entire shift

• General labor skills

Work Environment

This is a very warm environment. However, there is an air-conditioned control room where employees spend about 30-40% of their time. Your will work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, and you will work independently alongside two other production operators per shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
