Ziegler CAT is looking for a full-time Technical Support Supervisor. This person is responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating the efforts of the Construction Technology Support staff. This position will provide leadership, technical knowledge, and strategy pertaining to the efforts of the technical support group.*This position can be located in either Bloomington, MN or Altoona, IA.Responsibilities:Promote new and innovative solutions to improve current work flow processesMotivate, inspire, and develop strategy for the Technical Support groupMaintain and develop training curriculum and technical content for the development of Ziegler UniversityManage the technical support line by meeting set support metrics, maintaining proper staffing levels and keeping staff technically up to date on current and emerging productsCoordinate product problem management strategies with various OEMsGenerate comprehensive capital asset and tooling requestsTrain internal and external customers on technical aspects of Ziegler's product linesAssist with new product introduction and integration into Ziegler's product portfolioProvide information, coaching and troubleshooting on Construction Technology such as Trimble, AccuGrade, CAT Grade Control, and others as neededAssist with warranty claims, providing information to assist them in filing claimsQualifications:4-year degree preferred; high school degree requiredKnowledge of and experience with the following is preferred: Construction Technology such as Trimble, AccuGrade, CAT Grade ControlGood computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Powerpoint and intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and WordExcellent leadership and communication skills - both verbal and writingStrong customer service orientationClean driving recordTravel:Up to 35% travelMinimum Physical Requirements:Standing, walking, talking, hearing, use of hands.Working Conditions may are primarily indoor.This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
